TULSA, OK, November 11, 2022 — ZEVAC was awarded yet another honor this year at an Annual Methane and Climate Strategies event held in Woodlands, Texas, on November 2nd, accepting ONE Future’s Award for Technology of the Year – Midstream.
The ONE Future Coalition is comprised of more than 50 natural gas companies coming together to voluntarily reduce methane emissions across the natural gas value chain to 1% or less by 2025.
ONE Future presented the inaugural awards to companies that have made a lasting impact on the industry by developing innovative technology or solutions focused on lowering methane emissions for natural gas companies. The technology must be in use and have proven results.
“Receiving this award is a special honor because it means the natural gas operators that are part of ONE Future recognize the impact ZEVAC equipment has on the acceleration of net-zero timelines. To win the award in the Midstream category is particularly symbolic because the first ZEVAC was purpose-built over five years ago to solve the problem of how to depressurize wet-gas pipeline pigging traps safely and responsibly.
