ZEVAC Twin

Balanced Power for Everyday Operations

Engineered to deliver serious pipeline evacuation capability without sacrificing field mobility

Portable and powerful, the ZEVAC Twin is a favorite of operators and contractors involved in wet gas pigging operations. The Twin fits in the bed of a pickup truck, packs the power needed to draw down medium-sized applications quickly, and like all ZEVAC equipment, can recover and capture any mixture of product from 100% gas to 100% liquid.

The Twin is mechanically driven with no onboard electronics, making it the safest emissions reduction equipment available for live gas operations. Perfect for everything from distribution mains to pigging, the ZEVAC Twin brings vent gas recovery and cross compression to every jobsite.

Meet Compliance
Cross compression keeps gas from entering the atmosphere, maintaining compliance with emission regulations.
Reduce Risk
By keeping gas in the pipes, risks related to venting and flaring are completely eliminated.
Easy Integration
ZEVAC equipment easily connects to gas lines and pipes, allowing for quick setup and operation.
No Electricity Required
Driven by compressed air, ZEVAC equipment requires no electricity to operate.

Customer Success Story:

ConEdison

New York State's climate law requires the energy grid produce zero emissions by 2040. To meet compliance, ConEdison deploys the ZEVAC Twin to jobsites big and small to recapture as much methane as possible and reduce their carbon footprint.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Twin commonly used for?

The ZEVAC Twin is typically deployed on distribution lines, spools, upstream and midstream assets, and for all trap applications. It is engineered to handle gas, any Y‑grade liquids (including butane, propane, and NGLs), and any mixture from 100% gas to 100% liquid.

What air supply does the Twin use?
Both the Low Pressure (LP) and Hight Pressure (HP) configurations of the ZEVAC Twin can operate using a 185 CFM
How can the Twin be transported?
The ZEVAC Mini is the most versatile and mobile unit in ZEVAC's equipment lineup, easily fitting in the bed of a truck or SUV. Fitted with wheels and weighing 185 lbs, the LP Mini can be lifted by two people and moved around a jobsite by one.
How far can the Twin draw down to?
Like all ZEVAC equipment, the ZEVAC Twin can draw down pipelines to 0 psi. This removes any and all product, both liquids and gases, from the pipeline.
What is cross compression?
Cross compression is the process of vacuuming natural gas out of a pipeline section that needs to be depressurized and recompressing it back into another section of the system, keeping product in the pipe instead of releasing it into the atmosphere. ZEVAC's patented, portable cross-compression equipment is the only proven solution on the market capable of handling everything from 100% dry gas to 100% liquid contents, making it the industry's most versatile gas and liquid capture and recovery technology.
Why use a ZEVAC?

Here's what ZEVAC cross compression delivers:

  • Regulatory compliance — Supports OOOOb/c and EPA methane mitigation requirements, helping you stay ahead of evolving regulations.

  • Enhanced crew safety — Keeps product inside the pipeline, significantly reducing ignition risk and exposure hazards for your team and surrounding community.

  • Zero product loss — Recovered gas stays in your system, eliminating waste and protecting revenue.

  • Environmental stewardship — Eliminates routine venting and flaring, reducing methane emissions and advancing your ESG and net-zero goals.

Can ZEVAC handle liquids?
ZEVAC is a positive displacement linear compressor. This means there is no spinning crankshaft or rotating drivetrain, which affords the ZEVAC equipment unique functionality and advantages, such as the capability to capture and recover product contents from 100% dry gas; to any percentage of wet gas mixtures; and even up to 100% liquid service.
How can I get a ZEVAC?
ZEVAC equipment is available in a variety of options, including rent; purchase; and a lease-to-own program.
