How It Works
ZEVAC uses cross-compression to move gas and liquids from one pressurized system to another through dedicated intake and discharge hose connections. Instead of venting product to the atmosphere during maintenance or repairs, trapped gas and liquids are pulled into the ZEVAC and transferred into a nearby live piping system or containment. This process prevents emissions from escaping into the air.
ZEVAC is pneumatically powered. Simply connect a suitable compressed air source, typically an air compressor, to the unit’s air intake. The more air you supply, the faster ZEVAC completes the job.
Dynamic Pressure Match
ZEVAC utilizes positive displacement linear compressors, means there is no spinning crankshaft or rotating drivetrain. This key feature affords ZEVAC equipment unique functionality and advantages, such as the capability to capture and recover product contents from 100% dry gas; to any percentage of wet gas mixtures; and even up to 100% liquid service.
We take your service conditions as they are. Without the need to regulate gas pressure into the ZEVAC, we maximize the speed of the gas transfer. Automatically adjusting the ZEVAC discharge pressure to match your system's operating pressure remove the risk of regulator failure and over-pressurization. Together, these features make up the Dynamic Pressure Match.
