Gas Compression Applications Engineer

Overview
The Gas Compression Applications Engineer will act as the ZEVAC SME responsible for the technical success of ZD3 and traditional ZEVAC Product Lines for vent gas recovery applications in facilities.
Responsibilities:

Assist the Business Development team/ZDN with technical assistance to create marketing materials to drive Leads → Opportunities → Sales → Testimonials → MRO/Compliance help → and build the life cycle of trust with end users per ZEVAC’s core values.

Must understand facilities, compression, control systems, customer pain points, and understand upcoming regulation deadlines.

Coordinate and manage pilot projects/field trials, including commissioning teams.

Provide feedback to engineering for possible design enhancements.

Must be knowledgeable in field best practices for installing and training new end users on installation and be the face of ZEVAC and lead in initial commission processes.

Be the voice of the customer and provide a feedback loop for product improvements.

Provide regular updates to management using EOS format “rocks” and “todo” to accomplish corporate product line goals.

Develop procedures and train ZEVAC Service teammates to handle commissioning once initial pilot projects are complete. Conduct field testing and commissioning activities to verify control system functionality.

Troubleshoot system issues during startup and make necessary adjustments to control logic. Train operators on proper control system operation and procedures.

Develop documentation, presentations, proposal templates, and website material for each product line application.

Market channels include direct, through ZDN, EPCs, leased compression owners, operator-owned facilities, packagers, and OEMs.

As part of the commercialization process, build relationships with clients to obtain testimonials and technically lead commercializing efforts as the market develops.

Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology or 10+ years of gas compression experience
